This printing press machine design was our first product which we designed for Halm Industries out of total of 5. This was a concept machine developed by Halm and debut in Drupa that same year.
The objectives were to design all the covers from a low cost structural foam parts and give the unit an appealing look and a better user interface experience. Ergonomics was also very important in this design since there will be an operating man working with this press constantly. We have provided a stepping steps on both sides of the machine and handles to support the user when accessing the top ink tray area and covers all potentially danger areas with fail safe doors and covers.
